The grant applicant's name, athletic information, competition results, and photos may be used by ODKF in any form of public media.

The applicant's email will be added to the ODKF mailing list for occasional ODKF emails. The mailing list has an opt-out button at the bottom of every email.

The applicant agrees to support future ODKF programming by helping to promote ODKF programs and events by:

  • Including the ODKF name and logo in any website designed by the applicant specifically to promote the athletic pursuits of that applicant.
  • Acknowledging the ODKF sponsorship at least once on any Instagram or Facebook pages the applicant has. 
  • Promoting ODKF fundraising events (Duke's OceanFest, Hawaii Waterman Hall of Fame, and Duke's Night) by: 1) (re)posting at least once about each event on social media in the year the grant is received, and by sending; 2) and by sending to any email list the applicant maintains to promote athletic activities OR by sharing that email list with ODKF for that purpose.
  • Volunteering at or attending at least one fundraising event for ODKF.
  • Agreeing to interviews or speaking engagements promoting ODKF programs if asked, as scheduling permits. 

Note: Future returning applicants will be asked if they completed the above requirements.
